Helga Christoffersen is executive director of Art Hub Copenhagen - a new institution focusing on contemporary Danish and international art - from July 2019. She joined the organization from the New Museum in New York, where she was associate curator and curated among the others a solo show of Leonor Antunes. She was part of the curatorial team for New Museum Triennial, Surround Audience (2015). In 2014 she was part of the curatorial team for Here and Elsewhere and she also curated solo exhibitions with Lili Reynaud-Dewar, David Horvitz and Hannah Sawtell. Previous experiences include her role as assistant curator of 55th Internationational Art Exhibition La Biennale di Venezia (2013), The Encyclopedic Palace curated by Massimiliano Gioni, and in 2011 she was appointed curator of the Danish Pavilion at the 54th International Art Exhibition La Biennale di Venezia.
