Hannah Obee is Director of Collections, Programming and Learning at Harewood House. Trained in Decorative Arts at the Wallace Collection, from 2003 to 2017 she worked at Chatsworth as a collections and exhibitions curator then Acting Head of Collections. At Harewood she has been instrumental in establishing the largest UK Craft & Design Biennial outside London.
Hannah is particularly interested in the continuum of contemporary collecting and commissioning at country houses and the importance of primary sources in communicating human narratives to audiences. She sits on the Portland Museum Curatorial Advisory Group.
