Franck Leibovici (born 1975, st-denis, la reunion island) is a poet and artist based in Paris. his main publications include: quelques storyboards (ubu.com, 2003), 9+11 (ubu.com, 2005), esquiador en el fondo de un pozo (fundacion/coleccion jumex, mexico, 2006), des documents poétiques (al dante, 2007), portraits chinois (al dante, 2007), letters from Jerusalem (spam, 2012), poule! (fundacion jumex, mexico, 2012), (forms of life) – an ecology of artistic practices (laboratoires d’aubervilliers / questions théoriques, 2012), filibuster – a duration piece (jeu de paume, 2013), des récits ordinaires (2014, villa arson / presses du réel). For the last five years, he has been developing a project entitled a mini-opera for non-musicians, aimed at creating tools of redescription of “low intensity conflicts”, based on notation systems coming from experimental music, dance, science studies, or conversation analysis. the performances, installations and books produced for this project are not related, however, to any form of “live art”.
